I've never heard anyone say anything funny before stating "It's funny how things work out."
Not once! It's usually been something terribly depressing, although fairly distant from ironic, or just like pretty fucking snotty, ya know? Whatev, for the most part it's simply just an introduction/closure, to a boring statement.

            The other day I was listening to a Modest Mouse song and remembered a Wisco time, when I was around 18, driving to an ATM and shouting "LAUGH HARD, IT'S A LONG WAYS TO THE BANK" to deposit some pathetic paycheck I had received from my job that paid a whopping $7.25/hour, while cutting me out of breaks, yet still deducting time as if I was getting that time to breathe/eat, in between. I remembered sort'a sitting on the edge of the seat of my Buick so I could almost see the outline of my boat, slowly creeping next the outside, machine wall. Pulling out a few envelopes, and then, giving a glance behind me, for any other cars; I had previously had direct deposit so I was far from being familiar with what I was supposed to be doing, anticipated that it'd take a few moments.
           I picked the correct envelope from the 3 options, and of course just put the other two in my passenger seat, rather than fall out of my window, again, while attempting to put them back. I slid in my card, tapped on the screen, laughed loudly at less than $100 filling my current account, took out a $20, and was entirely content with life; I was free, the weather that pushed through my open windows, was beautiful, and Modest Mouse continued, even louder than before, as I drove to Waukesha to smoke weed. It was fantastic.
